What benefits are there to study for CIDESCO and CIBTAC diplomas instead of attending a course that offers NVQ levels?

CIDESCO and CIBTAC are International diplomas that are recognised worldwide.

These qualifications can be achieved in an academic year, instead of waiting 3 years to obtain employment.

Does the course cover all aspects of Beauty Therapy as it involves less training time than NVQ qualifications? Are there any other schools offering CIDESCO?CIBTAC diplomas in East Anglia region?

This is a very intensive and comprehensive course covering Beauty Therapy/ Electrology/ Aromatherapy and Indian Head massage. CIDESCO AND CIBTAC are considered to be prestigious qualifications in the industry.

The nearest schools to offer the same diplomas are Champneys in Tring, Herts and The London School of Beauty and Make up.

Is it difficult to find employment at the end of training?

Students who study at the Cambridge School of Beauty Therapy have an advantage when seeking employment. Salon owners regularly contact the school for vacancies - an acknowledgement of the schools consistency in producing highly skilled therapists for their business.

What age group attends the course and how difficult is the training?

The course attracts all age groups from different backgrounds. The course work is intensive and does require motivation and dedication. You must allow time for study at home to achieve these high standards in an academic year.

What about client practice and what products do you use in the school?

The school provides all the models for your practical work. As soon as you are adept at the treatments a client will be allocated to you every time we have treatment sessions. In the new year term we have Health Farm Days. These are very popular with students and clients and prepare the student for salon experience.

We use Clarins and Dermalogica products for treatment sessions.
